no none of that comes up. there has been no site of the audio 8 dj in traktor no illustration of it what so ever . dont now wat to do any more.... maybe burn my computer down

aiight im back though looks like you got a pro on hand seeing as buck uses CD.

and yeah like buck said dont worry about midi for now stick with setting up your time code since you will be mixing externally anyway

what version of Traktor Scratch Pro have you got installed. there were a few versions that messed up macs (the firmware cycle seems to be one that doesnt work to well on macs, then they fix it, then they mess it up again).ig you let me know i can check it for you

hey mate what version of traktor scratch pro, go to help> About.

and have you downloaded the latest drivers for the audio 8 AND make sure the older drivers are removed.

1.2.2 of TSP messed up macs.

And you need only one Audio 8 driver as having multiple it up. (i have no idea how drivers work on a mac)

okay in the native instruments folder there should be a program called service centre. you can use that to update your tsp.

what about the audio 8 drivers? not 100% certain, but maybe when you download the tsp update it might update audi 8.

yeah not sure why with so many people using macs, but traktor is definitely built for pc in mind first, then tweaked to work in macs.

i heard this week ATO's etax doesnt work on macs either!! ha ha i guess not everyone shows macs love.

let us know how it goes. cant figure out how to check audio 8 drivers.

hmm..

its not really "updating" its more of a download the new installer.. so once you download it.. uninstall the one you have already installed and reinstall.

oh yeah thats right. need to reinstall and make sure you uninstall/ delete the old instance.

from memory a lot of mac users would install the new one but all their shortcuts point to the old one.

yo. i just downloaded the TSP 1.2.6. now how do i get my computer to recognise the audio 8 ? it still isnt doing it . step by step what i am doing wrong or what havent i done right ?

in the wizard set up. i go yes im using a usb and/ fire wall yes ? becuase i didnt have this option in the 1.2.2

so i got all the routing done correctly now i think and the computer recognises the audio 8... now time coding how do i get that to register?
