one of the burdekin room in sydney has cdj's up like that but not at such an angle. I'm not short but I had to stretch on my toes to see the screen. At least with 2000's it's angled towards you a bit

Yeh there is a 100+ inch projection screen on the wall behind the bar and from what i can see the computer is running the images that are often on that screen

and That DJ is actually just a short arse, the other DJ can see over easily

Well every good club I've been to, hasnt had nightlife, because they pay for DJs.

I'm not saying its a shit club, just not a good one obviously. imo of course

Nothing wrong with Nightlife (IMHO).

DJaz, Nightlife is a computer-based music video system that can be controlled via a keyboard or hooked up through a dual CD-type controller.

It can also be programmed to play tracks at random without a DJ, say during the daytime for a pub or club, or until the DJ starts their set.

thats what we use it for and it is a million times better then having the radio or even channel v pumping through to give you entertainment

i agree that if it is used to dj with its a joke but asides from that it makes my life that much better

my first experience in the booth was on nightlife lol, when i very very very very first wanted to get into djing and had no idea about any of it, the resident dj asked me to come in for the first hour of a wed/thur/fri nite for a couple of weeks and use nightlife to gauge my track selection and general genre knowledge. If i ever have someone i know that was amibitous like me come up and ask to learn to DJ, its probably the same thing ill do with them, no point in being a DJ if you cant select good tracks

sure there were only a handful of people plus bar staff between 9-10pm, but seeing those ppl lose there shit and see them so happy when i dropped a good track is what made me decide i wanted to be a real DJ

and gotta agree with skank, much better than using chan v/radio while preparing for the night
