Hey guys and gals, i'm Warwick

Live up in the adelaide hills, fairly new to DJing, only had about a year experience so far. Done a heap of private parties, real fun times.

I use a very shitty KAM system, styled around the CDJ400 but NO WHERE near as good. I seem too keep spending money on other equipment for a band project... or getting tattoo's. BUt you have too support strange addictions.

Have my first proper venue gig comming up on the 22nd of October at The Colonel Light, pretty amped. Bit nervouse never having spent much time behind CDJ900's though. but its 12 till 2am so it not a long one.

I don't know if this is the place for it, and let me know if its not, but does anyone have any tips for the first big gig? horror stories are good too

KAM Are a very reputable Brand but weather they live up to pinoeers standard i dont think so

Another DJ I was talking to at the Crown and Anchor mentioned it, unfortunatly I was a touch too loose at the time to remember her name.

one suggestiin ive always seen though if yer worried is hire a set. dj warehouse does good mid week deals but they not in adelaide. do you have an equivalent place maybe

I play double bass in a 50's Doo-Wop band, so thats really my biggest one.

As far as DJing goes, i like doing hip hop, but doing the same thing over and over gets boring. Kinda like to keep it fresh.

from what ive heared the cdj 900s

when your chasing up the BPM go easy with it cause it is very sensitive
