Jaz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Stickers are a very good idea actually, works great for my other forum (bikes) have 4 of there Decals on my bike as does the majority of its 30,000 Membersthey are about $5 to buy, but im sure the owner is making a profit, but they also sell bike Products like mufflers n shit and Also T shirtshere is there sticker, great template for if your looking to create something similar Quote
FabDJ Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Why dont you set up a merchandise store and get orders and payment and then purchase stock. You dont need much money for that if any.An abn number costs bugger all.Use your suppliers web sites for promotional purposes and photoloader etc. for anticipated purchases (Sticker samples)You dont have to own something to sell it.Cupes ADJF ebay. Jaz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Also a while back i said if you want some basic T-shirts with ADJF printed i get probly get that done if needed....Girlfriend works at Big W so can get cheap plain shirts, and have an acquaintance/friend that does professional printing like shirts, business cards, posters, banners etc Quote
FabDJ Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Put me down for two T shirts also Cupe, size Large Quote

Tomy Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 But the world is meant to end in 2012 LOLbut yeh i think it's do-able mayan calander thing is a myth/ hollywood hype. Quote
Cupe Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 i'd rather get together a bit of stock first then sell it to make the money backi don't like relying on stockists and shit. Quote
Jaz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 yeh understandable, no point getting orders on something and your suppliers are out of stock lol Quote

I'm sure all of the regulars on here wouldn't mind doing a few sets a year for free to support this site? $10 or $15pp for entry should cover a fair bit of the hosting costs for the year. This also would get the name of this website out a bit more as well. CBG Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 In terms of merch, I dont think its a priority making money of it at first. It's about growing interest in the site.If Cupe gives us an honest amount how much it is for a tshirt. We pay it plus postage, and we wear it.He makes no money, but he gets free walking advertisements. You could even get the money BEFORE you buy the shirts in case you're concerned cupe Quote
Cupe Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 good idea, but i have no idea how to get that shit rolling? Quote
lloydc Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 good idea, but i have no idea how to get that shit rolling?the t-shirts or the event? Quote

Cupe Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 yea i already know people will wear the shirtsthe problem isn't that, the problem is getting the money to make it happenhence 1st post Quote
lloydc Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 the events shit to raise moneyfind somewhere that will give you free use of their venue, promote the hell out of it, and charge entry at the door.surely you'd know a thing or two about promoting events. I'm assuming you cop heaps of stuff via facebook like the rest of us Quote
