Lets get the word out there.

I'll be working on trying to get a merchandise store and shit (gonna try and do a few freelance jobs on the side, get some cash and get an ABN).

ps. If anyone wants some photography done, msg me. I'll photograph your car, your house, your missus, your dog, your face.. Whatever you want and charge not very much.

Get some readable stickers made

I'll buy some for my road cases,vehicles back windows large, and small stickers for my equipment .

Light stands, speakers,amps etc.

Need about 40 of each.

Stickers are a very good idea actually, works great for my other forum (bikes) have 4 of there Decals on my bike as does the majority of its 30,000 Members

they are about $5 to buy, but im sure the owner is making a profit, but they also sell bike Products like mufflers n shit and Also T shirts

Why dont you set up a merchandise store and get orders and payment and then purchase stock.

You dont need much money for that if any.

An abn number costs bugger all.

Use your suppliers web sites for promotional purposes and photoloader etc. for anticipated purchases (Sticker samples)

Also a while back i said if you want some basic T-shirts with ADJF printed i get probly get that done if needed....

Girlfriend works at Big W so can get cheap plain shirts, and have an acquaintance/friend that does professional printing like shirts, business cards, posters, banners etc

great idea but seeing as there are 10 regular posters, about 5 reasonably regular, and about 5 who hang around every once and a while then there probably isn't a massive market for ADJF labeled merch! there'd be like one big splurge by everyone and then thats it.

unless you mean start selling DJ related things and hence get the links back to the site. problem with that is buying enuff in bulk to get the wholesale discounts to make any margin.

i rection adjf sponsored/ organised events could be a good way to spread the word. i guess its just a matter of getting the bodies and time to organise. things like maybe open deck nights etc.

that interview thing is pretty good, get a few more of them out so that fans googling that dj may come across us (though fans may not always be djs)

I recon putting on a few nights a year could help out... I'm sure all of the regulars on here wouldn't mind doing a few sets a year for free to support this site? $10 or $15pp for entry should cover a fair bit of the hosting costs for the year.

In terms of merch, I dont think its a priority making money of it at first. It's about growing interest in the site.

If Cupe gives us an honest amount how much it is for a tshirt. We pay it plus postage, and we wear it.

He makes no money, but he gets free walking advertisements.

You could even get the money BEFORE you buy the shirts in case you're concerned cupe

find somewhere that will give you free use of their venue, promote the hell out of it, and charge entry at the door.

surely you'd know a thing or two about promoting events. I'm assuming you cop heaps of stuff via facebook like the rest of us
