DJ_Raptor
I also got my technics serviced, I didnt notice any difference. I have a feeling they look at it and say, its a technics... what more can i do to service this beauty? lolyou can tell if your decks are not holding speed etc.. by looking at the bumps on the side of the platter which is a good indication that things are working. like i said, i serviced mine even though there was nothing wrong.. i dont think ill bother doing that again as its just a waste of money.Generally the motors they use are top quality and ive never heard of a fault within the normal lifespan (10-15years), so general common sense maintenace should see you through. Things like... using the dust covers, keeping them clean. not thrashing the pitch slider etc.... love them and they will love you back. DJ_Raptor
The good thing is that the technics all come with dust covers so it wont cost you a cent
