So i just wanted to share real quick that ive officially been booked for the biggest Party my home town throws every year

the after graduation party for My old school, its the second biggest school in QLD and the party usually gets around 400 people

if that doesnt sound big for you sydneysiders n stuff, WELL ITS BIG FOR ME OK!

avg crowd for me in a club is around 200

yeh its gonna be a challenge for my speakers, but the chick who is holding it was telling me she asked a local DJ vendor and they quoated her $600 for around 6 hours with 2 Speakers and some lighting, which im guessing it two 2way 12's or 15's on stands and some basic lighting, so she was rapped for me to do it for half the price n twice the gear lol

im not sure if they were charging extra or something because of the time (11pm to 4or5 am being after graduation) but thats pretty steep LOL

well i know ive got the right music because i basically just get it for these gigs, skills arent up to scratch but im working on that, the music is loud enough, maybe not with 100 people dancing but im no mobile club

yr setup may have seemed loud. but adding bodies and open space it may quash some of the volume.

well what they usually do is convince the person with the biggest House/Yard in the school to hold it, usually works with a hole school of pressure on them i guess

party is always in the yard n D floor and DJ inside

they are getting security as well so that will be a plus, hopefully i get 1 with me controlling the D floor

they usually have it out of town but from what ive heard this 1 will be in town,but if its shut down early then i get a better pay to hours played % i guess

nah most people will be 17 as its year 12's, with the exception of the 18 year olds that were kept back or come from interstate

when they tell you to turn it down man. do it straight away. they take your shit straight up. if they come back a second time they'll sometimes take you shit as well.

so be careful. Almost happened to me a year ago at a party. It wasn't my gear but i almost got it taken away. hahah. didn't help that i kept cranking it.
