Mattye Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Hey all. Just had a thought today.Has anyone trided using Traktor or any other computer based DJ software on a touch screen??? Computer or otherwise???I did see the vid of the guy with that surface thingo, but obviously thats not very practical.Anyway just a thought to ponder. Would be awsome if it worked without having to crew around with programing etc. Quote
Buck_Choi Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 if there is an app for traktor on ipad tell me please Quote

DJ_Raptor Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Ive always thought it would be a cool idea to have a touch screen faceing the dance floor, where a track list can be scrolled through by patrons.. and they can select a song to have it requested! then it comes up in a serato requests que...i think that would be a great idea! Jaz Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Pill once had a similar idea that is actually plausibleby using itunes, the "Remote" app for iphone/itouch, and a screen, party goers can easily pull out there iphone/itouch and select a song from your itunes playlist which can either be played upon request like a jukebox, or you can see it as the DJ and play it when or if you please Quote

I think it would be great... especially for Under 18s events... those little teeny bopper girls would love it lol Quote
Jaz Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 it was a good idea he had, the only problem was not knowing how many phones can access your itunes using this app. ive never tested more then 1 connected at the same timebecause if this wasnt possible then you would have to just have your iphone as the jukebox controller, and no 1 is going to let 100 drunk people fuck around with there iphone, unless they have 2 or a shit iTouch but it will get fucked n probly stolen haha Quote
DJ_Raptor Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Yeh id like to see it more like a standard integrated part of Serato, or some sort of add on you can download... all you need is to push the request display out via a second graphics port on the laptop to a touch screen outside dj booth and your set.
