I've jumped on board the Sol Republic band wagon and I've hooked myself up with Tracks Ultra V12 headphones and Amps HD ear buds (which I've had for a few weeks now). The headphones aren't for djing but they're a decent set of cans. I'd also recommend the Amps for anyone who wants a decent set of iPhone ear buds. Fully functional buttons and mic with your iPhone or iPad and iPod.

very nice mate.

i know how pumped you are to have those bad boys. they will be some super loved gear :thumleft:

I will be updating my studio pics tonight! have been sporting wood since they were delivered to me today at work.

How can i put it, I now feel complete!

Considering some simple(reversable) mods, IE blue leds, internal grounding, cant wait to pull there nickers down and have a good look at the pink bits!

Ha i hear ya, just gonna change some led's and internally ground them. To me they are just gorgeous the way the japanese made them! Lol

Ive always wanted a silver pair, but having the click lock in the middle of the pitch control is anoying.

Can you retro fit a later model slider?

Not the way you are thinking, no.

You can remove the click from the pitch slider if it annoys you. You can also remove the quartz lock for more precise pitch adjustment near the 0, but if you are going to be recording samples n shit off them, the quartz lock is handy.

Internal grounding is probably the most useful mod if you set them up and pack em up often, I kept the grounding cords on mine incase I ran into a mixer that didn't share a ground (never did and not likely to).

The light mods are easy unless you have a halogen popup, in which case be very careful with the popup circuit (unfused, and will effectively ruin the whole pcb if you have a short on it)
