Yeah ended up playing on the 700 a fair bit lately and it will suit me perfectly, the 8/850s were just that bit out of my price range and dont particularly like being broke.

Just googled them to see the price difference between the standard vers. and the adidas vers. and Dicksmith has them for $200!!

Yeah I'm really surprised at that Dicksmith price. Might get a pair, been needing headphones... Only problem is I've never tried em... No time to at the moment because of exams, worried they'll sell out at that price though!!

Toss up between the 25's for $200 or the Xone XD:53's for $230 new on ebay. I would go straight for the 25's but they just have such a strange build that it's hard without trying them. I like the more traditional style of the 53's I guess.

I think Gandy has/had both and I am sure he has advised buying the 25's to someone here. Although not 100% sure.

I've got both, I use the 25s for travel because they are super lightweight (also have another pair at work to listen with) and use the xd53s at home and playing out

All comes down to preference, do you like closed ear style or open ear
