tubby Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 8m square for a bedroom? that's a very big room. 8 inch monitors not at all overkill in that space. though when dj'ing remember you'll be only maybe 2 feet from the speaker. if you have other people in the room listening you might way the sub as well to fill out that space. ChevChelios Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 In my opinion monitors are overkill for DJing purposes, montors are designed for neutral sound representation (no colouring of frequencies) which you dont need for DJing, just any hifi speakers will do for DJing, save yourself some money man, unless you plan on getting into production that is.
