Thats right, my 1st gig TONIGHT (Friday 27/Aug/2010), 1st time trying to pack all my gear into my tiny little 91 Nissan pulsar, 1st time setting it up outside my house, 1st time playing to an audience/party

oh trust me,it will be pumping, Spesh since my last speaker has arrived , quite large property out of town so they neighbors will be fair bit away and hopefully un-able to winge to the cops

Thanks guys, the D-floor and I will be in a medium sized granny flat attatched to the house, alot smaller then my house so hopefully will need less volume because of tighter acoustics so won't be pushing them tonight

will do, so far it is going great, just gotta lower the trebble on the speaker as the highs are a bit noticeable at times, and the speaker stand/rod is a tiny bit wobbley but i just plug the millimeter of gap left in where the rod sits on top of the sub and its all good, actually i will put a pick up soonish seeing as the hole set is complete :D:D:D:D

ok so the gig went mostly good, couldnt really play much house as everyone just wanted pop n Rnb, im not sure quite how to mix pop as most song are just random BPM's but i did my best

laptop got bumped a couple of times causing VDJ to crashed, but got it back up n going real quick, played from 7 till 1, was originally going to start at 9 but was testing the speakers n set up with 2 songs and everyone just hit the D floor so i had to keep going,very big effort for my 1st gig i think.

very saw neck and back from carting all my gear and standing in the same spot lol

and at the end of the night i took 1 last request for the last song so everyone was leaning over the laptop and someone spilled a drink, lucky i wiped it up as quick as possible and everything seems to be ok

stressfull night for $100 but also some good fun

will let this thread know when i have stolen some photo's from randoms people facebooks that were there

was in a 5 meter wide x 10 metres long room and yeh the whole granny flat was vibrating, random drunks just kept coming up saying the bass and everything was crazy, so im guessing they went good

yeh after the drink hit the laptop all i could think was FUCK! shoulda just finished 2 songs earlier lol

yeh so finished at 1, packed the gear in the car, half hour drive home then unpacked it then just crashed in bed lol

hijacking this thread i also done a small gig.. on saturday..

all i did really was bring my gear to a mates party put on a cd and left it. was shitting it because other people were playing with it and had drinks and food around it.

but turned out a good night.

and checked this arvo if anything was broken. all good.

apart from one cord.

as a note to my self i really need a roadcase!
