Remix?

hey am doing a remix and it also my 1st!

not sure but do i only use what's given in the stem i've received only?

or can i also bring in any other sound's like my own,drum's,bass or anything else?

dude thats the idea of a remix.. otherwise it would just be a re-edit or something.

Commonly a remixer takes the most prominent part of the original track and works around it i.e vocals, synth line etc.

You can add kick, hats, drums, pads, sweeps, bassline etc etc.
