PA speakers: $175ea x 2 = $350

Subs: 170ea x 2 = $340

Ebay lighting: about $220 including postages

Hercules RMX: $475 with post

Behringer EPX3000: $560

Laptop: $1200

Headphones: Around $50ish with post

And then just table n leads and shit Probs about $150ish

so thanks to anyone who has helped me after i got fucked in the ass my DJ Shitty and helping me with wiring and picking the amp, otherwise i would have a crap amp only just powering my PA speakers and No subs

yeh the speakers are good for $175, i meen there no JBL's, and they dont split your ear drums but for the price they do pretty good

when i get a used back up amp so just in case the epx packs it in at a gig, i may get 1 or 2 more speakers but thats a bit of saving away

ok so after trying to record some footage to show you it all going i realized i really need just 1 more bit of lighting as what ive got to be contantly on (laser and moonflower) isnt really enough, but then i remember that i wanted just a little bit more noise as well,

so im considering buying there 2 or 3 things just for that little bit more oonf, and it also helps my set up by rasing my speakers higher which im also using as a lighting stand , all up will cost me about $280 i think, and the speaker is powered allready so i dont have to worry about amp connections

and my main question was, with the rod, are they pretty much universal? because the subs have allready got the speaker rod hole things on top, and that 12" ebay speaker also has them so it should be fine right?

I found the 40mm rod from a light stand to be a bit big to fit in the sub top slot

Put a speaker on it and looked good, but very hard to pull out

Yeah, i think speaker and lighting stands have different size rods.

However, they're not universal - i bought a pair for the brand "biema" that are wobbly when they go in to my subs

They aint the best, but better than Jaycar stuff.

Whenever you put speakerson stands you'll lose a he's of bass. Got something to do with low frequency resonance.

Shows they are not very good with low end.

ok so once again i got fucked

bought the sub speaker stand which was very hard to find, payed for it on ebay etc, get a call about 20 mins ago, "oh sorry even though ebay says we have 10 available we actually have none, and we cant get them for a month and half,would you like to wai...." me, "no! refund"

does anyone know where i can get one the same or similar, and for cheap, around $30-$40?
