Ah i forgot to mention, thanks to my brother, he lets me use his mac and I've been using Garageband.

welcome dude.

garage band is a good place to start, but dont get to comfy with it as it will limit what you can do as your only realy using loops, we all start somewhere though.

in the future you may want to look at programs like

Logic pro(Mac)

Ableton(mac and PC)

Reason(PC i think?)

FL studio(PC)

there is a few others but id say theyd be the main ones.

and like previously said, the more questions you ask the more knowledge your going to get
