Fader starter

What does a fader starter do.. just found out i have the port on my cd player and my mixer..?

pretty sure there will be no sound and the song wont start until fader is over.

eg slide fader to the right- right deck starts playing?

like as the fader hits the end it acts as playbutton?

if you know what i mean?

it's the same as pressing play when you move the fader. since the channel is live when you do that, you want to have your timing right. can be useful for playing sound clips that don't need perfect timing, and you can laucnh over and over, just close the channel, open again, it will cue and play each time.
