CBG
ohhh no you d'int!!depends largely on your style. Serato for turntabilism, traktor for multi-decked beat locked DJingbasically. both are swsome

Buck_Choi
i'd say its easier to set up serato. even though i have never set it up.. but from watching a vid.. all you need for serato is RCA cabels where as Traktor have double adapter kinda things RCA cables..lol ill try get pics up soon

tubby
they are exactly the same to setup. tt's or cdj's into the sound card (audio4/8 or SL1/3) then into the mixer.the cables that traktor give you are really just the rca cables you need taped together in one package. callmeyo
no not at all. its super simple. 1st time set up is a bit complicated but once you've worked it out the night is yours! plus you hook up some Novation Dicers and you've got so much more to play with!! I love my SL3 just gotta put the time into setting up que points.check it out
ill_spector
dicers are cool for serato, if you go for traktor pick up an x1 controller or a midifighter for some cuepoint juggling fun etc: )

Buck_Choi
i think the joy of traktor too is that you dont require any hardware. same as Virtual dj but far more advanced i have traktor scratch pro + audio 8 =] and loving it ^.^ got it from over seas off ebay for heaps cheaper.
