RUKUS and WHITE RHINO are proud to bring you one of the innovators and most highly influential figures in the world of modern Dubstep.

Paul Rose aka SCUBA will be flying in direct from Berlin and performing a very special, intimate OUTDOOR DAYTIME SET in the courtyard of Alloneword.

Widely considered a leader in the global bass movement, Scuba was one of the first producers to merge the emotive and futuristic moods of Techno to the dense, powerfull bass and fractured rhythms of Dubstep, paving the way for a then new wave of producers like Martyn and 2562 to take this idea to the next level, opening up a whole new dimension in the sound of modern bass music.

As owner of seminal record label HOTFLUSH, he has signed some of electronic music's most innovative artists, in the early years nurturing the likes of BOXCUTTER, GRAVIOUS, DISTANCE and VACCINE. In 2009 he maintained his reputation as a man at the cutting edge of his sound presenting to the world MOUNT KIMBIE and JOY ORBISON, two of the most hyped and anticipated artists to emerge from any genre accross the spectrum of electronic music.

2010 has seen his own productions reach new heights, with his recent TRIANGULATION album submerging his sound even deeper in the subaquatic leagues while boosting the rhytmic tempo, and has been recieving consistent praise among his peers and critics. Meanwhile his baleric, sub bass driven Techno creations under the SCB moniker are built as much for spliff-scarred bass bins as the hi-tech laser rigs. And have been garnering him heavy critical acclaim, being repeatedly dropped in sets by the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman and the Berghain/Panorama alliance.

This will be a true visceral showcase of the Dubstep-Techno axis in a live format by an artist at the top of the game. DO NOT MISS.
