MladenL
Hi All, I'm doing a show next week, playing on in-house decks which are Pioneer cdj-1000s. I've been pr hacticing on denon dns-3500s, and won't have a chance to try out the Pioneers as I'm first up on the decks that night. Quick question: Any notable differences between the two models that may trip me up? Or anything that might be a suprise?Noted that the Pioneer 1000s doesn't have a manual bpm tap...I'm assuming the platter won't spin during regular play...And the "master tempo" button is the same function as denon's "key adjust"?Does the pioneer auto-cue to the first sound like the denon?Anything else? Thanks all,Mladen
Buck_Choi
Welcome to thefoums post in intro section and I'm sure you will get replies tomorrow morning best bet now is to go on the pioneer website and get the user manual
tubby
Master tempo keeps track key the same regardless of pitch. Doesn't let you mess with it, just keeps same key as if at 0%cue whilst paused sets new cue point, cue whilstnplayimg goes to lastbset cue. Platter never spins. In vinyl mode the top platter acts like a tt, side platter does pitch bends. Never used auto cue, I always set them manually. It's pretty easy to figure them out but s basic YouTube might be an idea before you get to the gig
