zedsx6
i've been djing for a year now and was looking to upgrade to either 1000's or 900's can someone help me out?
ill_spector
900's get with the times however there is nothing wrong with 1000 mk3's
BeatLeSS
I'm using 900's and i'd have to say the Slip mode is definitely worth it's weight in gold if you wanna do a bit of scratching/looping to skip a boring part of a song or just to keep it in sync. However, lack of hot cues not so good and i really think i could get a little more creative with hot cues + rekordbox on the 2000's 900's + network switch + laptop with RekordBox = legendary. No more CD's, can organise your music in playlists to almost layout you desire. Downside - I'm freaking slack for organisation so the music is building up where it's not getting categorized etc etc haha.
zedsx6
oh sweet, i've currently got cdj 400's/djm400's and i was looking to upgradeive been looking on storedj.com.au and ebay at the 900's and for a pair there about 2900-3000...would you be able to point me in the right (cheaper) direction? haha
BeatLeSS
www.storedj.com.au - $1449ea with $100 cash back - so $1349 each after cash back. Considering 6months ago when they first released i payed $1900 each, a pretty good price!

Buck_Choi
you dont really need to upgrade your mixer unless either you plan on expanding to 4 channels.. if you dont think you would go for an efx 1000 theres a few links in the buy and sell ive posted up they go for about 600-1000 2nd hand ish.. DjSTRiKE
At my local spot i have CDJ 1000's. and i played with CDJ 900's not long ago. id definatly pick the 900's any day, they just have a nicer, more up to date feel about them.
