Play Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Hello World! i go by the name of Petera 'Play' Tamarua and im from melbourne, australia. i've been djing (cdj's/turntables etc) for a few years now playing from house party's to night clubs.as a kid ive always been remixing tracks and turning them into tracks how ive wanted to hear them.....using programs such as acoustica, mixcraft acoustica and fruity loops.just recently ive come up with a way to remix a track or various tracks on the fly/live. similar to artists who i take BIG inspiration from, 'girl talk' and 'e-603'.to interpret this style of music (mashup) all i need is my laptop hence why i now call myself a 'sample based remixer'. stay tuned for my mixtape and live shows soon to be released.i have registered to ADJF to 'help others', 'learn', to get 'general feedback' and to 'promote my own brand'BIG shout out to my man 'Reg' who told me about 'ADJF'check me out @ http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... 383?ref=tshttp://soundcloud.com/press-play101 Quote
