serato loop

was playing on serato the other day and instead of starting the track again when it was gonna run out i just did a loop (30 seconds or so) on my cdj and kept it going..will this cause any problems or is it safe/smart way to do it?

huh? dude looping is extremely common practice.especially in prog & trance.

yer i dont mean the song i mean the time coded cd so yer it never ends so you never have to look down to check how long your got left..you can still scratch etc doesn't seem to change a thing

sorry I got what you are talking about,

I would recommend using loops in serato because they are more accurate and if the control cd runs out of time serato will go into internal mode ,

on my cd player with traktor it just keeps going even after the 30minute time code runs out it just repeats. try fast forwarding it to the end of the timecode and see if it does it for yours.

the serto disc has 2 tracks and the second is only short and is for changing songs but i haven't figured that out yet lol ill stick with just looping it i think

you use the second track on the vinly like this..,

you scroll through your crate in Serato for the track you want ...as you go forward and back on the vinly, you will see a high-light in your crate scroll up & down your track list.....high-light the track you would like to play...

lift the needle off the second track & put it at the start off the first track on the vinly....your track you have high-lighted in the crate in serato will load instantly

never used s.s.l with c.d players only vinly....but I think its the same way
