The documentary follows Avicii as he tours across the world and plays over 800 shows. Over the course of four years, the film is a breathtaking and thoughtful account of the DJ’s intense and emotional life. Every moment from his highs to his lows is portrayed in this film and is a beautiful, yet thought-provoking portrayal. The film was released before Avicii’s passing which gives it a very posthumous feel that will leave you feeling some kind of way. The film will drop on Netflix December 28th, right before the year ends, and is definitely something every dance music fan should watch. Originally the film was slated for limited release in Europe, but it has found a home on Netflix for the time being. You can view the trailer below. We suggest grabbing some tissues.
