every thought of starting up an adjf blog?

say get a few peo0ple around the forum to contribute, would be great exposure for the blog once we got a decent following, just post a fuckload of stuff about music. post tracks, post events, interviews, mix's

through the week have a day dedicated to a genre, e.g dubstep mondays, dutchie tuesdays, electro wednesdays, fidget thursdays, housy fridays, etc etc. the saturday mix, the sunday interview.

something like that.

you could make your own and have it hosted on ADJF

the forums do what a blog needs to do.

and why take away attention from artists blogs anyway

why you always tryin to boycott posting on the forums lolol

your missing the point blogs can be a shitload more public then a forum.

e.g you post topics on big names, e.g, for the dubstep section, you post the Doctor P Mixtape, who has a big following, and attatched to that you add in some stuff in the bottom about no name producer/dj's, a.g chuck in one of chev's free tracks. people search for his mixtape get linked to our blog, get the mixtape, and chev's track goes along with it. people fucking love free tracks that are high quality.(this scenario would apply to all genre's/sections of the blog)

we now have a big following on the blog, people join the forum to talk about the music we posted on the blog, and the people we draw will most likely be producer dj's them self, adding their own material to our forum, to which we can then post on the blog later,

this blog wouldnt take posting away from this forum what so ever, if anything it would increase it

its basically the same as what i was saying about a news page. ITM style, have it as a seperate page to the forums, then link to it from myspace, facebook etc etc

it shouldnt really matter, you can make an effective blog from any bog hosting site.

that im not sure about hey, i tried to make a blog in the past but got to the point of wanting my own layout and couldnt work it out so gave up. try talking to some graphics/web designers if you know any. maybe they would know. i could also talk to some people that have blogs and see what they did, ill do that tonight

not speaking from experience this is just the type of shit i look for when blogging.

i look for afrojack shit, find the blog it was posted on then trawl that blog for similar shit.
