Your biggest onstage fuckup?

any of you had a big fuckup onstage?.

think our first one happened the weekend just gone.

Dan sena from Dim Mak was playing, and hew was emptying the club. so the club had to go to the last resort and take him off stage, they didnt want to but we were losing heaps of customers, andyway we were the only guys there with our gear so he through us on, this is at about 2:30 when the club should be at its most packed. it wasnt a very crowded night but meh.

anyway, we were playing, and the club manager/owner/top booker what ever you call him. was with us trying to find a mic for another dj that was supposed to be playing but which thet cancelled(we ended up playing from 2:30 till close....fukin effort haha.

anyway while he was looking for it, he pumped the play button and then the cue button simaltniously so it went back to the start of the track and stoped,.....on the cdj that was playing.

dead silence is the worst sound ever haha.

quickly got it back up though, luckily the crowd was friendly haha.

woah haha. search up tiesto fail on youtube,its hilarious.

once in school i was playing drums in a band at secondary school assembly (500+ppl)

i lost focus in the middle of the song and just dropped drumming! 1bar later i started up again tho lol. the keyboard just looked at me in horror.

last week i was playing and left the smoke machine on...for a gd 2mins out, i thought id turned it off. needless to say i couldnt do much crowd reading for a while..haha

i cant even tell what happens. its like the platter in the CDJ just breaks down and he starts cranking something lol.

The david guetta one is good as well, he deserved that, he looked so disinterested when it happened

i havnt seen the david guetta one, ill check it out there.

there was a hilarious photo going around of justice.

they were on stage getting hell into it, but the photo showed that like the mixer was unpllugged or somerthing like that, well thats what people thought.

so for a while everyone thought justice were phony's

i think it turned out that it was a sampler or something they used to drop in vocal samples, and it was only a breif thing, ill try find the photo

my biggest fuck up was playing at peak time and the dj before me uses the chanel faders instead of the cross fader so he sets both chanells to thru in stead of A and B so i jump on not even checking what the channels were set too and for about 4 mins everyone could hear me searching through the next tracks it was such a shit effort

yer man i was so upset i really wanted to hurt someone it was my first time playing at the venue, i looked like an epic noob i still cringe thinking about it

i havnt mixed out in a club so dont have any stories to report from there but you could say that mine would've been back when i was cueing up track sequences for a theater production.

i wrote originals for that production and had one of my tracks cued up (was a funk track written for some dance scene) and i didnt double check my levels so when i hit play and blew out the PA system lol
