JonnyB Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Well this is a some info for newbies and also a Question to other people.the main reason for this thread is for more epereienced dj's to shed some light on this topic to up and commers looking to get into clubs.partly because some new guys at candy's came on the 10:30 set and droped warp 1.7 straight away, after coming out of disco. they ended up getting kicked off.now mine isnt perfect, it could even be completely wrong, but its working for me and getting me teh gigs. What music to you play for certain timeslots?i havnt played all timeslots yet but i have an idea of what id play in each.8:00-10:30 (disco, funky house)10:30-1:00(jacking house, fidget bit of dutch)1:00 - 3:00(dutch house/party music(e.g samir's theme and tracks alike)3:00-4:30(intence dutch house, bit of dubstep. and heavy electro.4:30 - 6:00( all of the above cramed into 1) hahaout of those times ive done the opening set, closing set(about 50 times ) and the 3:00 till 4:30 set.
