i had a look the 600 mixer is ok but outdated and the cdj 1000 are mk2 so youl have some format issues, but for the price it could be worth it

there seems to be alot of djm 400/ cdj 800 combos going for around 2g atm, which seems like a pretty good deal. but then again if you look at the new stuff pioneer is coming out with, the 800 is pretty basic, even the 400 has it beat and at a similar price point. i think that's why everybody is selling up, before they become really obsolete.

they'll never be obsolete man, no matter what happens there's gonna be a dj who just wants a good player just for cd's because what dj seriously can't be f'd writing his tracks to cd lol. it seems pointless to have usb and all that.

i havnt used cds at a gig since before newyears usb is essential because of new dvs and even newer technology come to hand its very handy

usb's can go to hell haha.

i cant wait to switch from cd's to vinyl.

i recon the further away you get from vinyl, the worse. thats just my few.

i only wish id started with vinyls.
