Just wondering recommendations on what to use to record and alter small voice clips?

Anouther noob question, what would you fellas/ladies recommend as far as recording mixes? is there a sound card with aux inputs available or is there an easier way?

also programmes what would you suggest?...... ableton?

I'm just looking to make a few voice clips to play over songs and record a few mixes to share......

I have had a look on forums already couldn't find too much if i have missed a thread please direct me to it and sorry for the waste of time.

Cheers!

for recording all you need is a usb mic and any audio editing software, like audacity. For recording mixs, soundcard is the way to go, but you can do it with an RCA to 3mm jack into you computers mic input, there is a thread explaining how to do it in the computer section I think ;)

Yep, plugging your mixer into your MIC input on your pc and recording with audacity is fine.

There is a video thread around for that as well, because your recording quality isnt always optimal on audacity, you have a change around a few options in it.

For altering voices, yes I would recommend Live
