Willow89
Hey guys! I don't want to sound like a dog and undercut anyone on the forum selling their gear, but is it possible to buy gear from the states and use it here? Stuff there is so much cheaper at the current exchnge rate, even with shipping. The only thing i was worried about was the 110 voltage thingy having any effect on the sound quality and or reliablity? or any other issues? Has anyone else done this? if this is a repost sorry i tried searching but the search doesnt work properly for me thanks guys!

CBG
I don't think there will be a problem, won't effect performance. I would ask SourceRaver though.Don't worry about being a dog, I bought my cans from overseas, because they hadn't come out here yet. If the stores here don't supply the goods or the price you require then that's their loss.

FabDJ
I get friends to bring in stuff from OS for one third the price available here but kiss any warranty goodbye if you havent purchased it here.I have a high end audio pre amp sitting in my wardrobe that I cant use cause the source selector dial and internals fell apart after 6 months use.FabDJ
SourceRaver
Buying from America is fine in terms of audio performance but you may also need to buy a step down transformer:http://www.tortech.com.au/stepdown.htmlTrying to get something fixed under warranty will probably be a nightmare and the re-sell value will probably drop due to the extra equipment required. Buying non-mains powered devices (like headphones) is a much better idea.
