NO, i'm not happy with that and i wont be happy until the trading hours are left how they are and lock out is removed completely.

why should the 35,000 people in the valley be punished for the actions of a few wankers. if anything the clubs should be open till 7am and not serving alcohole between the hours of 5am - 7am.

And honestly man, if this is a proposal your going to put to the QLD government there are going to be alot of industry people in brsibane not very happy at all.

the best line of action to take here is to talk to the guys at QLD locked out & the Birsbane hospilitay groups and all agree on what we are fighting for. I know your trying to help but your just making things more confusing for people,.

edit: we all need the same goal and to work together on that, not all these separate groups.

I dont belive what your doing is correct. think about the impact of it.

with the current idea shutting at 4am on weekends your loosing 1hour of trading

with your idea they'll be loosing 2 hours of trading and that 3-4am time slot is a massive one. i really dont think you have thought this through very well. You also cant put the door charge up because lock out starts at 3am.

To me your idea doesn't make much sense at all.

You need stats and figurs to back up your argument, and remember we are on the bars/clubs side they dont need anymore restrictions on trading / licenseing

I'm not trying to flame you or anything man just think that if we all get together as one large group and decide on one option and fight for that it will be a much better out come.

Where I come from, Bendigo, the 2am lockout works well. People get used to it and it hasn't caused too many problems. It's good because when they have the correct amount of security and police, drunk and forgetful people are forced to go home.

It didnt work in melbourne though. I think it only works in smaller locations

u have rember we had lock outs up in qld now 5years so can't them changing things just try push back clock more

to get ANYTHING done , you need a fucking massive following, a few forums arnt going to do shit.

now if you want to get a massive following, your going to need to get a friend or someone to help you type, people are lazy on the net, they arnt going to follow your link to audio. because its not infront of the,, were reading your posts because they are there.

you need to prove to people that what you want to do is worth hoping on board for, if you say 'i have this idea come help me' and you dont have 1000's and 1000's of people behind you already, people are going to think its just going to be a push over and blow you off.

this is entirely my view by the way.
