I cant help you more than that really cause I haven't used garage band in years and I didn't use it to its full potential, just played around with its inbuilt loop but there are tons of tuts on youtube man search that shit

well what do you want to concentrate on, production or DJing. If you wanna DJ more than produce, go buy decks, but if you wanna produce more than DJ then go buy logic 9

i ended up buying reason from my friendly local store dj. its on order so i havnt been able 2 use it yet but the dude there showed me how to do things and it seemed heaps good

reason is a pretty difficult program to get used to, really cool if your into your hardware cause its basically a big rack, not the greatest sequencer for me though I cant get used to it. A great bit of software though

and before where we said about dj'ing and producing... i want to do both i want to be able 2 dj with my own music
