its kind of an american/canadian thing. just look up US and canadian producers

the uk scene is alot more grimier dubstep, US is robotic

Definately happening, check out guys like boot, sook (the abyss, both of them), droid sector and phonetic system, kind of like robot shit but dark imo, lots of nuero basslines ( I think thats the word )

Pretty much if you've heard excision and datsik you've heard it all cause it all sounds the same, evry single clip of transformers has been sampled over and over by every producer doing that style.

Check out a guy called nit grit on soundcloud though, similar style but i like his stuff, nice melodies and shit, a lot of its free too which is cool.
