DJ DAZZLA Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Hi there i did a gig in a large function room the other night. I have a small smoke machine i started to use during the gig. The bar manager asked me to turn it off as it may set of the smoke detectors. I complied with her request, but im just wondering if the non toxic smoke these machines make would set of a smoke detector. Anyone know? Quote
LabRat Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Yeah they do but you need a shit load of it to set one off. She’s obviously had some trigger happy people in there Quote

Yeah, I always ask first... they can isolate the alarm for that room in some venues... DJ DAZZLA 1 Quote
OxyKon Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I've never had an issue with them, i used mine at my wedding in a small inclosed space with little ventilation at a restaurant my wife and i booked out and the alarms never went off. @BeatLeSS can vouch for this DJ DAZZLA 1 Quote
DJ DAZZLA Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 Ok guys thanks. I suppose it depends on the folk running the venue. Quote
