Amicus
Hi All,I have been reading through the forums trying to find out as much info as I can on legal setup. I know I need to get a Tariff F license from PPCA but which license do I need to get from APRA/AMCOS? Their web site is as clear as mud when it comes to mobile DJing. Amicus
Thanks guys,I am pretty sure that I have read through Dennis' posts. He talks about the different licenses but doesn't specify which APRA/AMCOS license to get. I will try to PM him and will post the results when I get them. pill
Amicus,Welcome - I'm also in Perth - never know might run in to ya.You only need the APRA/AMCOS license for copying or transcoding music from cd to mp3. They have a blanket license that's about $800-900/year that covers that.If you are not changing the format of any of your music you'll be right.Anyways good luck and give us a shout if you have any questions about cheap places to get gear etc, found somewhere awesome for hiring gear last week.
