Combine Track/Mix Showcase to The Music?

I'm thinking of removing the Track & Mix Showcase and combining it within The Music section..

So that all releases go under the music section of it's particular genre instead of in one big Releases dump.

I would of course need to edit The Music a bit (most of all include something that will incorporate Dubstep, lol)..

What do you think?

Yeah thats sounds good. Dubstep is already there under DnB isnt it.

plus it'd be sorted into the proper genre, so once this place gets alot busier, you get the right people giving feedback on genre's they know

here's an idea if you are sorting forums - maybe you could called the new forum (in the music forum) Showcase! feedback needed for both "dj mixes & track showcases"

well there's already the 'track/mix critique' thread for getting feedback if it's needed

otherwise you're just showing people your finished product in the thread that matches the genre of your track or mix.

Should we leave the MIX CRITIQUE thread or just move it all to The Music? If you want feedback you'll get it anyway, right?

maybe if its in the one thread (being music or whatever) we should have a system where if it's a mix you have [MIX - GENRE] - dj - mix name. same if its for a production [PRODUCTION / REMIX / WIP] either one for whatever it is. just a thought

so for example

[MIX - TECH TRANCE] Spitfire - Techy Mix 2010

[WIP] Monkeys - Bananas (Spitfire Remix)

Well just leave a mixes section and a production section. That way in production you can discribe what it is you're working on
