Veteran DJ Ends Show After Being Hit With Bottle Mid-Set

Legendary selector Jeff Mills has walked off stage mid-set after being hit by a glass bottle.

The disgusting occurrence took place in Spain's Area 42 nightspot on Sunday morning during Mills' headline set at around 4:30am, before the 53-year-old DJ ended the show and walked off stage.

Unfortunately this isn't the first case of foul play from a crowd we've seen this year, with UK producer Duke Dumont being spat on last month during his show at Edmonton’s Union Hall.

This is not cool. What the f*ck?!

Another horrible factor to this news on Jeff Mills is that it isn't the first time it's happened to this veteran DJ, who in 2013 was hit on the head by glass during a show at Atlantico in Rome.

Area 42 has addressed on the issue via Facebook, thanking the crowd members who had the right intentions and calling out the few who clearly didn't.
