LabRat
im 19 and wanna get out there and hit the clubs but its hard to stick to one style as i wanna try and break through many still "underground" like styles. i think at times i may be making a mistake playing fidget and just should be playing electro instead. i was wondering what the scene is like in aus and if its worth it trying to catch it while its fresh?had a bit of an eye opener a lil while ago when my mate said he liked it. he doesnt really see the point in electronic music so for him to say that was kinda good. i guess the main question is, being a new sorta style breaking into the scene, will it last long? ChevChelios
Dont know much about the aus fidget scene, there are a few trashbags regulars that play a bit of fidget, but not strictly fidget cause I think it gets a bit to much track after track. Other than that I dont hear it out too much, that said I only really ever go to trashbags and VOID events... I think if it was ever gonna really take off it would have already because its not that new of a genre. Still great club music though and Im sure there are crews that organise regular events out there I just dont know about them.

ChevChelios
Im sure there would be some event organisers over there, just look on myspace or facebook or another gay socialising website Im sure you will find some and you might be able to get the occasional gig with them.Perth dubstep scene is apparently really moving so you should probably be moving towards that hahaha.
