Skank Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 what should be the standard for burning your music to play out i have mostly mp3's but as i have learnt not all cdjs respond well to them.so should it be wma or wav what and do they bothproduce a waveform display on the cdj 1000?? Quote
ChevChelios Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 burn as an audio CD not an mp3 CD and you shouldn't have a problem as far as I know. Quote
Skank Posted February 14, 2010 Author Posted February 14, 2010 sick cause i had big dramas with some of my tunes on some cdj1000 and the waveform didnt come up either, but they were all mp3 Quote
LabRat Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 yeh i got denons and i got a few mp3 cds and although the songs are on there when i put it into the computer, it shows up on the cd players as some tracks missing so i just burn audio cd's straight from iTunes and it works with no dramas Quote
mo-c Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 i also find, on my 400s and same for 1000s that mp3 discs take much longer to read Quote

Skank Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 yeah i never use anything below 320kps thanks for the help guys Quote
tubby Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 mostlly buy wav's but even when mp3's I always burn as audio cd's. less issues in general, and not all decks play mp3's still. Quote
