SourceRaver
Check out Matrix Productions (www.matrixproductions.com.au) for lighting. The website lists prices for everything and you can save money by collecting it yourself. If its a 30th, you'll need to source music from the 80s onwards and some 70s for the older friends and parents. pill
Hey man,You'll find most 30 year olds etc will still be in to more recent dancey music so the 90s might be somewhere to keep an eye on as well - I found a jukebox website with the top 10 from each year in the 70s, 80s, 90s etc which is great when doing a gig for an audience you're not familliar with.If you are in perth there are much cheaper places than going to matrix as well, just let us know and I will get you their details. For your background music for that age I'd suggest the less popular or less upbeat classics from 80s-90s etc. You'll probably find they are all up for the more dancey classics (thriller etc) once they've had a chance to have a few beverages. Also some punctuation in a massive post wouldn't go astray.Cheers
