Cookie-xx
Hey I'm cookie, fairly new to the world of djing and this forum and would like a little advice. I'm not really down with alot of the technical jargon and stuff so please correct me if I make no sense I was wonderin whether it would be possible to use the BCD3000 as an audio interface to connect my laptop with two turntables and a mixer. Using traktor and timecoded vinyl to play and scratch mp3's off my laptop. Would this be possible or should i get rid of the bcd and buy a purpose built audio interface? eggssell
yo from my understanding no. traktor have locked down vinyl control to audio 4, audio 8 or certified mixers. note also you will need traktor scratch /duo pro not just traktor duo/ pro. lloydc
yes you can, i've seen it done on a video somewhere (maybe youtube).I think it was using mixxx or some other software. It worked, but it looked pretty shit.in short, your better off going with something like torq if you're on a budget, or second hand serato will set you back less than $500. SourceRaver
Virtual Dj also supports timecoded vinyl. My friend uses a hercules console as the interface. I therefore suspect the Behringer can do the same. Also found this:
