dapimp Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 this happened to me a few times in the club. anyone else experienced this? Quote
Skank Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 it might be beatmatched on the speakers but the acoustics of the room cause a delay so it seems a bit off Quote
SourceRaver Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I wonder if theres a delay to your monitor speakers? Your beatmatching your cued track (headphones) to the sound comming from the monitor speakers. If that sound is delayed, then it sounds great in the booth but will sound bad on the dance floor.Does this happen in the same club or has it happened to you elsewhere? Quote
dapimp Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 2 different venues. sounds off beat on monitor, but then if i push the cdj while listening to monitors it gets in beat. its like one cdj is taking longer to reach the monitor lolso to bring in new tracks, i bring the volume up a little and beatmatch live lol Quote
DjDennis Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 its where the speakers are placed to where you aretoo far away and it will have a delayget a monitor speaker right up close to you so you can do all the proper mixing you want!too far away then you have NO hope of doing proper beat mixing!just read thisCommon Speaker Mistakes by a Dj (not true topic but you will see why, when you read)http://www.ausdjforums.com/modules.php? ... pic&t=1655 Quote
CBG Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 theoretically, if the songs are matched thru your cans, then they will in speakers as well. just that the sound will be behind dont monitot of tge speaker, thats where you'll fall in a heap Quote
