LabRat
sup ladies,I'm gonna head out today and get new USB's but i'm toying with the idea of goig SD. SanDisk is the brand for me because i know it works so i'm just wondering whether a class 10 is the way to go or if i need something less intense
OxyKon
I use sandisk aswell, I never have any problems with them, they're my preferred USB
ThatPartyGuy
you could prob get away with class 6 but class 10's are cheap enough these days.i remember paying $70 for a 16gb class 10 sandisk sd card... they're like $25 ish these days.
LabRat
I'll go the class 10 for faster awesomeness
Kodiak
For audio it's going to make diddle squat difference. Class 10's are a necessity for photography where you are saving 40mb raw files at 5 per second. Aussie prices for memory cards are way higher than the US. If you have time to wait buy them off Amazon or bandh.com
Kodiak
Saying that, they can't hurt.
LabRat
I do but I don't. I'm just gonna investigate today and if I find something I'll grab it but I'll have a look online too
AlexJ
i use sd cards as mains but have a couple really high end usbs for on the go use (ie have to sync a whole bunch of stuff real fast or as a backup etc)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171651773942 ... EBIDX%3AITthese are pretty boss. some of the cheapest i found. i have a couple of each main genre type (house, cheese, bass, 128 club) that i play and 1 set for misc.http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/151177272790 ... EBIDX%3AITthese are my backup usbs. dont affix as solidly to cdjs as i maybe would have like and a quite conspicuous but fuck they transfer fastin terms of storage ive bought like 4 different sd card holders. overall this is the best one (general ease of use)http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221526106049 ... EBIDX%3AIThowever this one is waterproofhttp://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331258862466 ... EBIDX%3AITand this one is very low profilehttp://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331234969212 ...
