Vocal Cuts

Ok, I'm an epic Brynny fan. His style of bounce is left-field. Every time ive seen him play, he's a dance-floor filler (in melbourne).

He's especially well known for his 'vocal cuts'.

Knowing stuff all about production.. would this be difficult to do? Examples:

if not difficult, could someone give me a quick run down? im assuming you grab the acapella and just slice out certain parts, possibly add some reverb?

Not tricky at all mate. All he did was cut the vocals up in sections and throw it into a sampler. Each vocal sample is assigned to a separate key so you can play whatever sample you want. In four five seconds he put a sidechain on it too

Shouldn't matter too much tbh. I have ableton so I'll set it up and give it a go for ya.

i don't have a full version of ableton with the full sampler in it so i can't show you how it's done
