Cupe Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 What do you mean by 'remote torrent' ?You can use your phone to connect to your home PC with remote access:http://www.teamviewer.com/download Quote
Trennaa Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Not entirely sure if im making sense..Probably not. What I want to do is use an app or somehting from my S5 (while at work) start a torrent from my desk, it starts downloading etc from my laptop AT HOME, using my HOME wifi? Quote
Cupe Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm not sure it kind of works that way.You can basically control your home PC from your phone, so you'd just be doing what you would do sitting at your computer but from your phone.Although utorrent has a phone app, others probably do. Not sure the level of management they offer, though. Quote
Trennaa Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Yeah I used to have UTorrent on my previous phone (galaxy s3). However, I don't exactly want to download potentially GB's of data on my phone lol Quote
BeatLeSS Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Torrent programs have remote control capability. Here's a handy link that might show you what your smartphone and home computer can do!http://lifehacker.com/5875743/how-to-us ... e-computer Quote
