Yea they can't just be giant rectangles of colour because it looks terrible when they become a banner.

It needs to be png with translucent background and actual edges that aren't hard lines.

They look dope but they won't work.

Also they are way too tall.

I can do something like this, I knew that full colour wouldn't work because of the background colour scheme, and the hard edges I didn't worry about with this as it is just an idea to work off, I have a couple more ideas but work has gotten in the way

As far as dimensions, similar to what the current one is. A bit of extra height is ok, maybe +200 px at the very most in height

width is gripped by the actual header width so I wouldn't go too much wider

Ahh, like not a border fading kinda thing, but a gradual gradient over a fair distance.. so it looks like it melds back in with the orig site layout.

EG where the ".com" is should start fading there. Also would look sick cos the .COM would be full opacity.

i only just saw this for some reason lol, the .COM is at the very edge of where the gradient filter finishes, i'll push it a bit further
