Hey guys,

I'm working on a set which I'm going to play next weekend in a lounge/club but so far I've only been mixing in student events in France.

That may sound stupid but some sounds such as "what's that spell" from Dillon francis ft TJR sound much better without lyrics in club from my point of view.

I usually play a bit of tech house every 2 to 3 house tracks, and the change sounds bette when the first house is without lyrics, what do you guys usually do? Lyrics but not too much?

Thx!

I prefer to do a few lyrical tracks every now and then. I like to keep the same vibe if going lyrical to lyrical too unless the music makes it work really well, i.e wouldn't play a track with a upbeat vibey message behind it with one that's flat out for the ego feeders after each other.

I don't download heaps of vocal tracks, but that's just the style of music I play in general. Not sure what that track is that you mentioned, but it is true in clubs some track can go better without vocal
