eggs 5 year anniversary mix

okay this mix doesnt fit any single genre as i decided to try jumping around but it starts electro.

i have not mixed for a mighty long time so it was quite ambitious (stupid) to try such a feat. its also the longest mix i have ever tried.

anyway the result was below. some absolute embarrassing shockers (that CBG would tell me why would you even upload this ), but i spent a few hours trimming down 141 tracks. then just mixing all around for another couple of hours before coming up with the tracklist. so meh its up now.

oh wow listening as writing this. some really really bad ones....

may have to go back to lab and redo.

even ones i get good beat match, like last two tracks, i cut the outgoing track so early

well dont expect too much

in fact go do something and just let it play in the background, like vacuum or process food

actually only one transition was any good. from vostoc to can you hear (at 11.50). i tried doing cut transition, and i switch from one channel to the other before moving over. first time using technique and quite happy with how it went.

well the mixing sucks but have to say i love every track in this mix.

look at the coke face wave form. im sure i kept below red.... jonnyb blowing speakers

hump day bump for those that dont play on the weekend

mixing is atrocious but a nice way to hear some of the work that comes from adjf personnel.

including four of the OG 10 who have gone off to be #biggtime (if not #biggertime) amongst others who are also now #biggtime or got next

Whoa loved this mix eggs.. Very dope blending of genres and of course extra points for all the ADJF repping going on in here. I've never heard much of Cairo/Swiss before and totally dug it. Whoa @ that CBG (he is Gould yeah?) tune too, heaaavyy.

Didn't hear too much of the stuff ups, am at work though so could be why.

the only good mix was the one at 11.50. though i do like the echo between empia's track when i changed bpms. liked it so much so i tried again later but it didnt work.

and yeh CBG/ chris' stuff is good. i like that track especially. and yeh coke face from jonny is one of my fave tracks of all time. of all time.
