I got a powerboard coming out of a single socket thing, then another powerboard off a socket in the powerboard

so that's my PC and dj gear all in one socket

like 10 things or something i think...

what's the most you've plugged into one wall socket?

it's bad, right?

i use to have a large powerbored prob fit about 20 sockets into it. but there wasnt any surge protection. had my computer/monitor/router/modem/etc. used up about 15.

but when i got my dj equipment i was scared of power outages. because i have them frequently in the heat. so to be safe i got some 10 point boards with surge protection cost about 30 bucks for one.

and it is not safe to jump from one power board to the other lol

dont know the specifics, but im pretty sure just having one powerboard into another is already bad. even a power board running from a double adaptor is meant to be bad.

ive got one powerboard that has 6 sockets with my lappy, a hard drive, and all the dj equip (2 TT's and a mixer). then a seperate one for the stereo.

10 things(??), you running four decks?

Dont worry too much about whats plugged in, its more to do with how many devices you have operating at one time. The last rave I went to had everything plugged into only 4 outlets and all probably on the same circuit (ie couldnt use a strobe as it could be heard through the PA). In the early days of UK rave they wuld steal the power from the nearest lightpole if the warehouse didnt have any.

Is the cord form the wall to the first power board getting warm?

My room is the biggest hotspot, I have so much shit coming out of a double socket and three powerboards man, I got a tower, screen, speakers, tv, xbox, amplifier for tv speakers, a fan and a power drill charger, lol, and when I have my mates dj gear add 2 cdjs, mixer and a big fuck off stack. Its the biggest series circuit (I think thats the right terminology, haha). When I turn the fan on the stack makes a mad click when it starts 8O , and once we outed my whole house , probably not a good thing though. I've never really worried to be honest :teef:
