Chinese Laundry host the official Harbourlife After Party with Lee Foss headlining the cave, and Tkay Maidza in the Laundry.

Few DJs have made such a dramatic impact on the underground house and techno scene over the last two years as Hot Creations label owner Lee Foss. We're incredibly excited to host him in the cave.

With a sound influenced by the likes of Major Lazer, M.I.A, Outkast and Rihanna just to name a few, Tkay Maidza knows how to bring the party. Having played festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Listen Out, Touring with both Nina Las Vegas and Citizen Kay, Tkay Maidza is set to rock LNDRY, this is one not to be missed.

Biography

Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today” and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has quickly catapulted himself into dance music’s collective consciousness.

Lee and his Hot Creations label co-owner Jamie Jones currently spearhead a whole family of like-minded producers that includes Robert James, Russ Yallop, Richy Ahmed, Danny Daze and most recently wAFF who are currently re-writing the rulebook of how to make evocative and emotive house music.

Tkay Maidza is a young, Adelaide, Australian – based rapper, she is fresh to the scene but has already been around the block, having played Groovin the Moo, toured with both Nina Las Vegas and Citizen Kay, dropped her own Brontosaurus tour, and played a bucketload of shows between.

As a steadfast addition to both the upcoming Splendour in the Grass festival and Listen Out tour lineups, the time has now become ripe for Tkay to drop her first single as a signee to Dew Process.

Titled U Huh, this track has been months in the making, and it’s that delicious brat rap brand we’ve come to expect from this ADD-hip hopper. Catchy, poppy and littered with sassy delivery, this single does away with the potential cheese that its predecessor Brontosaurus had, instead carving a different niche to its shout-back-chorus originator.
