FLAC Converter

I've been trying to find a FLAC converter to burn off some tunes so I can listen but everytime I attempt something I get this error;

Anyone got any recommendations?

assume you're running 64 bit?

Check if that mscomctl.oxc file exists in the C:\windows\syswow64 directory

If it does, try the following:

open cmd as administrator

cd C:\windows\sysWOW64

Regsvr32 MSCOMCTL.OCX

should tell you that it succeeded registering the file

PS haven't had this error or tried this solution myself, just a general knowledge thing

Wasn't in the dir, copied it to dir and ran command. BINGO.

The batch file to register the dll copied it to %windir%\system32.. Obv for 32bit.

Right, my issue now is I need to convert them to 16bit for Audio CD. Every freaking tool i've downloaded thus far isn't working.

iTunes does this conversion automagically, but I hate iTunes! Anyone recommend any converting programs they use?

Not sure of it can do it but I use Media Monkey to play flacs, you would think it can do this too?

I use VLC to play FLAC's no worries. Does Media Monkey do conversions?

Was this paid software? Says there's a non-commercial free version but my dealings with those sorts of things are usually negative.

So got me thinking, wonder what's out there on the 0 dayz, found AVS Converter and EZ CD Audio Converter grabbed em. I think I'll be set with those.
