Anyone used a Novation Launch Pad?

I'm gonna borrow one out from the uni, hoping to use it for a live performance assignment.

I eventually want to do some Madeon style music, but also have it trigger visuals.

Who has one/has used one?

I found a bunch of sample packs that load into Ableton specifically for use with the launchpad

Keen to get stuck into hours of fucking about with it

I'm not sure if they've updated it for Live 9 yet (hope so) but Novation have a max4live patch that turns it into step sequencer. Very handy thing.

Just getting the packs for my home setup, then I'll start toying with it.

I've worked out how to get the samples I want in and everything like that, and how to cue them etc.

I need to know how to make a single sample loop automatically. I've been searching and it's killing me.

That would be set on the actual sampler instrument controls. There's a little 'loop' button where the timing setting etc. are. Make sure it's highlighted yellow and this will loop the sample until you stop it.
